Start time:

The cloakroom door opens at 8.45am and closes at 9am. Please arrive between these times.

Children arriving after 9am need to enter school via the School Office.

Finish time:

School finishes at 3.15pm but we open our cloakroom door from 3.10pm to help ease congestion on the playground.

Book Bags - Children can bring a blue book bag to school every day. They keep it in a box in the cloakroom. They can use their book bag to put their pictures, reading book, newsletters etc inside. We ask the children NOT to keep their water bottle in their book bag in case it leaks. You can buy a blue book bag from the School Office or from The Uniform Shop in Morley.
Change of clothes bag - If you feel like your child may have a toilet accident, we welcome you to bring a bag with spare clothes to keep on their own peg. This bag will stay in school. Again, please make sure items of clothing including the bag is named.

PE Kit - Children need to come to school every MONDAY wearing their P.E. kit. The P.E kit is: white t-shirt, royal blue PE shorts or black tracksuit bottoms, solid coloured trainers and a black hooded top.

Tapestry - We use the online journal app called 'Tapestry' to record and share your child's learning with you at home. We love seeing what home learning your child does outside of school and encourage parents to share these photographs and videos via Tapestry which will contribute to your child's profile. We are delighted that together we are able to build a journal of your child’s learning journey in Reception class. #AsquithSpirit

Water bottles - Your child must bring a water bottle to school (water only please) every day. Please write your child's name on their water bottles.

Names on ALL belongings: Please use a ballpoint pen or a laundry pen to write your child's name in their uniform, P.E kit, coat, hat, gloves, sunhat and wellies (if needed). Without a name it is difficult to reunite lost property with its owner.

Snack - Fruit or vegetables are provided in as well as free school milk up until your child's 5th birthday. If you would like your child to continue to have milk in school after their 5th birthday, please visit the cool milk website -  https://www.coolmilk.com

Home learning activities- will be sent home on a Friday on TAPESTRY. When children have completed their home learning activity please upload a photo or video to Tapestry by the following Wednesday. A member of the Butterfly Team will comment on home learning and award them a team point by the Friday. The children love earning team points for completing their home learning!
